Hi! I'm Jessica, a colorful wedding photographer with a burning love for fun and cake.
I love party people, fun weddings and ALL the wedding cake! Being a wedding photographer is a dream job and I've been lucky to have met and photographed many hilarious and kind couples who are as passionate as I am about supporting equal rights for all. I specialize in having a GREAT time and making couples feel extra comfortable in front of the camera!
My approach to wedding photography is all about you having an amazing time and me giving you the photos you'll revisit for decades. I’m after real moments with laughter, tears, hugs and smiles. I'm a firm believer that candid photos can best bring back the feelings of your wedding day.
When I'm not at a wedding, I'm probably home drinking an iced latte, playing video games with my boys and craving sweets. I play on a volleyball team, love to go snowboarding, and am obsessed with my corgi! I am a certified nerd and love anime, video games, reading books on the daily, and a good LOTR marathon once a year. I live life in bold colors and bright dresses (preferably with a bloody mary in one hand and camera in the other).
In 2005, I met my husband in Austin, TX. He came into my store and I tried to woo him with salsa music. He bought a car light. I dropped his credit card three times. There was definitely chemistry. Six years later we married in the Texas hill country, moved to Maryland and fell in love with the east coast. We have an incredible 11 year old son who will be the world's greatest caterpillar scientist one day.
I'd love to get to know you, learn about your passions and hear your (love) story. Let's grab a coffee and hang out!
My work has been featured on the Huffington Post, Essence Magazine, Virginia Living Magazine, Offbeat Bride, David's Bridal, Bethesda Magazine, Charm City Wed, The Wedding Hub, Capitol Romance, Frederick News Post, and others. My amazing couples say more about me than I could ever say myself! Read on to learn more!
