Hi! I'm Jessica, a colorful wedding photographer with a burning love for fun and cake.
I love party people, fun weddings and ALL the wedding cake! Being a wedding photographer is a dream job and I've been lucky to have met and photographed many hilarious and kind couples who are as passionate as I am about supporting equal rights for all. I specialize in making couples feel extra comfortable in front of the camera and most of my clients have never been photographed before.
My approach to wedding photography is all about you having an amazing time and me giving you the photos you'll revisit for decades. I’m after real moments with laughter, tears, hugs and smiles. I'm a firm believer that candid photos can best bring back the feelings of your wedding day.
My team and I have an enormous amount of experience with weddings of all cultures and have helped tons of couples create the fusion wedding of their dreams! I love to share ideas, galleries, and tips to make a wedding day uniquely your own.
We offer complete discretion and privacy to those looking for it and there are over a hundred weddings you won’t find anywhere on my website that include military personnel, supreme court judges, senators, university president, CEO’s, police officers, doctors, and more. Privacy comes at no additional cost and is available to anyone who would like their most intimate day to remain offline.
When I'm not at a wedding, I'm probably home drinking an iced latte, blasting hip-hop, playing video games with my boys and craving sweets. I play on a rec volleyball team, I love to go snowboarding, gardening is my favorite past time and you can find me lifting heavy in the gym twice a week. I am a certified nerd and love anime, video games, hardcore sci-fi, reading books (like, a LOT) and a good LOTR marathon. You can usually catch me listening to the Skyrim soundtrack while editing, with my corgi at my feet. I live life in bold colors and bright dresses (preferably with a bloody mary in one hand and camera in the other).
In 2005, I met my husband in Austin, TX. He came into my store and I tried to woo him with salsa music. He bought a car light. I dropped his credit card three times. There was definitely chemistry. Six years later we married in the Texas hill country, moved to Maryland and fell in love with the east coast. We have an incredible 11 year old son who will be the world's greatest caterpillar scientist one day.
