Elegance at St. Mary Mother of God and St. Francis Hall

This gorgeous couple married at the St Mary Mother of God church in Washington DC and then headed to St Francis Hall and monastery for their summer reception. From the delicate details to the rose blooms in the monastery gardens, this day could not have been more beautiful! St Francis is always a favorite!

But after all of the portraits, the pomp and the I do’s… these two really threw it down. They were joined by none other than THE Hokie bird, official mascot of Virginia Tech. Hokies are some of my favorite couples- they really know how to party, usually with fireball in one hand! It was a whirlwind of fun on the dance floor all the way til the end where Caroline and Mitch shared a private and emotional last dance. They put on their shoes one last time for a sparkler exit that was so good, they ran through twice.

This wedding was a beautiful testament to the fact that if you surround yourself with great people, the people who really matter, your day will be an incredible and unforgettable one. Caroline and Mitch, you two were made for each other and this wedding was one I will want to relive over and over!
